Freedom Surf School COVID-19 Procedures for Surfing
WE ARE OPEN.
As of the 8th of October 2020 we have updated our Covid 19 plan in line iwth Level 3 restrictions and we maintain our Approval Certificate from the Irish Surfing Association.
*There will be smaller numbers surfing together - physical distance, hygiene and safety will be paramount.
*All bookings must be made on line (or with credit card over phone 086 3914908).
New Proceedures
*All bookings will be made online or over the phone.
*Participants will receive an online registration form to be completed prior to arrival.
*Changing Procedures- In line with HSE requlations participants will use outdoor changing areas at the surf school or at the beach.
*Wetsuit Cleaning- wetsuits will be soaked in disinfectant, washed in soapy water, dryed in UV sunlight then quaranteened for 1 day prior to re use.
*Surf Camp- Wetsuits will be given to juniors & teens to keep for the week/duration of camp - arriving each day with the wetsuit on
*Adults on multiple lessons will keep wetsuits until surfing programme is completed.
*Participants can bring their own full length wetsuit. (Option is available to buy your own wetsuit from the surf school prior to arriving).
*Surfboards are sanitised/cleaned in between each use in line with Covid19 plan.
*If displaying Covid 19 symptoms or have been in contact with a confirmed case please cancel your lesson.
*If conditions are unsuitable lessons may be cancelled, please check terms and conditions for more dettails.
* Please bring swimwer /towel and wear sunscreen. No valuables.
* Please arrive at the surf school without spectators/non surfers to avoid crowds gathering.
* Please complete Activity Registration form.
