Irish Camps: Learning Irish is fun when you are learning to Surf at Freedom. Freedom is the only Surf School teaching people to surf through Irish and is accredited by the Irish Surfing Association and supported by Foras na Gaeilge.

Irish Summer  Surf Camps Starts 21st June

In Association with Gaelscoil Philib Barún Tramore. Course director Irish Teacher -  Eileen Gildea.

Mornings: Irish Class Tuition . Afternoons: Surfing as Gaeilge

Monday to Friday 10am to 4.30pm. Cost €185.00

Age Groups 13 – 15 years Focus on Junior Cert Programme

Ages 11 – 13 years. Focus on learning to speak and write Irish through games , music & drama.

Ages 9 – 11years Focus on learning to speak Irish through games , music and drama. 

 

Saturday  Surf Club,  Starts 3rd April- 11am to 1pm. €15pp .  Ages 12 to 17 years. 

Summer  Camps  – Star Fish – Surf Scene – Teen Extreme -Friends Surf Camp - Blokart -  Wind & Wave -Certificate Surf Skills Camp.

•  Camps Start 5th July and run every week until 27th August.

 Star Fish  7 – 8 Years    1 Day €25        3 Days €75    10 am – 12:30 pm. Consists of Bodyboarding & Surfing experience, fun beach games and rock pool exploration.

Surf Scene   8 – 14 years .  1Day €25,   3Days  €65,  5Days €95  10 am – 12:30 pm  or 2 – 4:30 pm. Introduction to surfing techniques, beach safety, water games with an emphasis on Fun.

Teen Extreme Ages 11 -17 years    1Day €25     3Days €65      5Days €95 . 10 am – 12:30 pm or 2 – 4:30pm Developing surfing techniques further, water safety,choosing equipment, water challenges

Friends Surf Camp    5days   €105  per person. We pick you up in the Surfers Van!  Your own Surf Camp with 5 of your friends (6 in total) You Choose the time! 

Certificate Surf Skills  Camp      €105   5Days    10 am – 12:30 pm or 2 – 4:30 pm Accredited by TheIrish Surfing Association. This is a practical & theory course which tracks your Surfing progression – I S A Certificate  &  Log book on completion of Surfing Levels

Blokart  Camp   Ages 14 – 17 years   €40 per 2hour Session .3 Sessions €105   Learn to Sail on land using the same techniques as sailing. Sail the sands of Tramore. Times will be arranged to coincide with low tides.

Wind & Wave Ages 14 – 17 years.  5  Day Camp 10am – 3pm. €265. Five days of  Surfing  and Land Yaching . Times will be arranged to coincide with low tides.

What you need For surfing  :swim wear, towel, sunscreen (applied),Drink.

What you need for Land Yachting : Light rain jacket, sunscreen (applied),Drink
