Our Irish Surfing Association Surf Skills Awards have been designed to facilitate the beginner surfer in a safe and fun environment. Simple pathways take you from catching and riding your first white water wave to completing all your basic maneuvers on green water. This Irish Surfing Association Programme enables the beginner surfer and your instructor to track your surfing progression through each level. Each award includes surfing practice and theory and Certificate Awarded on successful Completion of each level.

• White Water 1 – Paddling and catching Waves: You will learn to paddle, catch waves and ride prone.
• White Water 2 – Up and Riding: You will learn to pop up and surf to the beach in a standing position.
• White Water 3 – Control and Turning: You will learn to control your board, accelerating, stopping, turning right and left.

These accredited awards can be achieved over 2 days or spread over 4 half days
